On July 16 we will host a night at the Beacon Drive-In. Tickets are available at the July 16 worship service and the church office. Those attending VBS and who volunteered should already have their tickets! We will watch Cars3! We will serve free hot dogs, chips, cookies and drinks at 7:30 p.m. and the movie will follow.
Each week we post Pastor Lynn’s sermon as well as the special music from our services. Click here for SERMONS and SPECIAL MUSIC. If you are unable to attend in person, we hope you will listen online.

Our Love and Sympathy to the Family of

Dr. Dennis Clark

 
     Memorial services for Dr. Dennis Eugene Clark, 68, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Crossings Community Church, 14600 North Portland Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK. You are encouraged to wear bright colors to the service as we celebrate Dennis’ life.
     In lieu of a graveside service, there will be a Celebratory Reception at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, at First Christian Church in Guthrie.
Dennis was born August 28, 1948 in Effingham, IL, to Louis Lindell and Alice Aileen (Tate) Clark. He passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 in Siler City, NC.
     Dr. Clark spent his life as a pastor serving several churches. He served as pastor of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Guthrie twice for a total of 28 years. Dennis retired from the First Christian Church in Guthrie Dec. 26, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the “Dennis Clark Memorial Fund” at First Christian Church, 402 East Noble Avenue, Guthrie, OK 73044.
